Hanging Up soundtrack [Dec. 18th, 2005|05:40 pm]

[mood |blankblank]

Hello all,

I just recently watched Hanging Up, the Nora Ephron flick about a trio of crazy sisters - Diane is perfection as the career-driven oldest. There's one song that is particularly beautiful on the soundtrack called, "Once Upon a Time," by Jay McShann. I cannot find it anywhere as part of a larger collection of McShann's tracks, and the rest of the soundtrack is relatively lackluster, so I'd rather not drop $15 on the movie's CD.

I'd love, love, love if someone in this community had the song and wouldn't mind uploading it through YouSendIt or some comparable service.

Thanks in advance!

Finally!! I did it!! I join this community!! :))) A long time I couldn't, don't know why..
So..My name is Olya, I'm 24, I'm from Ukraine (it's near Russia, ex-Soviet Union, if someone doesn't know). I'm sales-manager and I'm 6months pregnant for the moment :)) I discovered Diane for myself only a few days ago, after watching "Something's gotta give", but I'm her huge fan yet. This is really GREAT film, I adore it!!!
But I need your help!! It's a BIG problem in our country to find normal DVD with other Diane's movies and with DVD-features, there are only piratical or there no in general. Can you tell me WHERE in Net I can free download DVD-features to "SGG"? Where I can download movies? Because it's dangerous in our country to buy something in Net..I don't know how to do it right... Can you give me some links or say anything? Maybe, advise..
Thanks!!! I'll waiting for your answers!!!!

Hi! Just wanted to let everyone know that I recently read a wonderful biography of Diane. It's entitled, "Diane Keaton: Artist and Icon" by Deborah Mitchell. The author focuses on her work and professional relationships rather than bedroom scandals and hook-ups.
Thought you all might like to know this tidbit!

Diane's Fashion Savy [Sep. 25th, 2004|11:46 am]

Diane's Fashion Savy
Who else loves Diane's sense of self and the way she expresses herself through fashion? Why does she wear gloves? Is it because she loves the time when women wore gloves out in public? My grandmother has white ladies gloves...sweet.

So I just adore the way Diane's character is dressed ( I think I read that Woody lets her pick out her own wardrobe for his films) in Manhattan Murder Mystery and I decided that I just have to pick up some ideas for job hunting outfits. Love the layers, and feminine-izing men's clothing, belts over the blazer....The outfit she has on in the scene w/ Alan Alda at the Grammercy Arts building at the wine tasting.
I might change the colors...but then again, you can't go wrong when dress to compliment yr hair color...Just perfect.
Ok, I 've rambled enough...but this is motivation me to job hunt...(so tiring....)

Hello all [Sep. 4th, 2004|03:10 pm]

Hi everyone.  I'm so pleased to know that there's a community for Diane Keaton fans.  I never really liked Diane Keaton until seeing her in Annie Hall and admiring her for her talent and innovative fashion sense.  After watching that film, I fell in love with not only Woody Allen/Diane Keaton collaborative films but Diane herself.  I went on to watch most of the other movies she's been in, and they're all wonderful.  If I had to name a favorite Diane film, I would say Sleeper, which is the movie that launched her career and was the first film where Allen directed her.  It's hilarious and Diane is awesome.  Thanks for making a place where those obsessed among us can vent.

More good news coming our way people. There are news around that Diane has signed into another film which is great news for us fans. Here's the article.

Diane Keaton in a New Perez Comedy

Mark Perez is writing a new untitled family comedy that Diane Keaton is attached to star in and produce for Columbia Pictures, says The Hollywood Reporter. Keaton received an Oscar nomination for her last role in Columbia's Something's Gotta Give, which was written and directed by Nancy Meyers.

The trade says the studio is keeping story details under wraps, but that the project grew out of a conversation on the night of the Academy Awards between Keaton and Amy Pascal, chairman of the Motion Picture Group at Sony Pictures Entertainment.

Keaton also recently signed to star in Fox Searchlight's Da Vinci's Mother, MGM's Mad Money, and Michael London Productions' Hating Her.
